Assessment, diagnosis and treatment advice for common nail and skin conditions affecting the feet.

What the appointment may include

Changes in nail colour, thickness or texture can have several possible causes and are not always fungal. Suzanne can assess the presentation, discuss likely causes and provide appropriate treatment advice. Common skin concerns affecting the feet can also be reviewed during the appointment.

Who may benefit

The service may help people who are unsure why a nail has changed, have difficulty caring for thickened nails, or would like professional guidance before choosing a treatment. Any current medication, allergies and relevant medical history should be shared accurately.

Assessment and referral

Testing, prescribing or specialist medical treatment may sometimes be required. Suzanne will explain when a GP, pharmacist, dermatologist or specialist podiatrist should be consulted.
